1.09am – it’s not quite as light as being at home, but I suppose it will have to do.

Memo To: First Buses
CC: Aberdeen City Council
Dear First Busses,

It’s been 3 weeks since you changed your bus timetable to make the buses are bit more convenient for everyone (everyone that is except me).

Please Please PLEASE can you update your bus stops with the right numbers, maps and timetables.  I cant bear to watch the confusion all the old grannies now have every time they want to get on the bus.

I’m lucky, I know about the change to the bus timetable. If I were a tourist I really would be confused.

Saying that, if I were a tourist, why would I be going to Aberdeen on holiday?

Yours,

David

Well… this is weird! For the first 19 years of my life I have lived in Shetland, until yesterday! I’m now officially a student. I have to do my own washing (not attempted yet) and I have to cook my own food (so far I’ve made some Supernoodles).

I’ve also managed to lose my door card/key fob thing twice… both times in my room!

It’s not exactly how I imagined the student life… so far my flat mate(s) haven’t moved in, and anyone else from Shetland I know coming to Aberdeen are still in Shetland (except for Martin). So all in all it’s incredibly quiet!

I did something today I haven’t done in a long time…. I bought some pens and pencils. I haven’t used a pen properly since I left school, and even then some may argue I didn’t use it properly. It will be weird writing!

I would love to write a longer blog but there’s not much to write about!

Got an induction day tomorrow at the college, so I shall have a clearer picture then!
