I’m not sure if there is anyone who reads this blog who doesn’t follow my Twitter or Facebook or Flickr or Blipfoto… but, just in case you missed what I posted on Friday, you may want to read this.

I think come June I’ll probably make this blog point to our new one for the year we’re away as I don’t see any point in having two.

The Christmas Toy Appeal

If I were wanting to hold a meeting at work over the next couple of days I couldn’t, or at least I couldn’t hold it in the board room.  It has been taken over by toys. And that’s just a small selection of the presents that have been donated to our Christmas toy appeal.

We’ve been running this for the last couple of weeks on air. When you were out and about doing your Christmas shopping, all we asked is that you buy an extra gift to donate. Then thanks to the Salvation Army, Bernardo’s and Befriend a Child, all the presents will be distributed to under privileged kids of the North East of Scotland in time for Christmas.

If you donated, thank you, it was much appreciated.

A bit of Where’s Wally-esque fun now, can you spot my donation, Henry the bear?

Memo To: First Buses
CC: Aberdeen City Council
Dear First Busses,

It’s been 3 weeks since you changed your bus timetable to make the buses are bit more convenient for everyone (everyone that is except me).

Please Please PLEASE can you update your bus stops with the right numbers, maps and timetables.  I cant bear to watch the confusion all the old grannies now have every time they want to get on the bus.

I’m lucky, I know about the change to the bus timetable. If I were a tourist I really would be confused.

Saying that, if I were a tourist, why would I be going to Aberdeen on holiday?

Yours,

David
