I want a phone that I can listen to my music through my own headphones, not the crappy ones that come with it. But seeing Al to get a demonstration of the Google phone is on my list of things to do, although like you said, I'll need an hour or so of spare time.

I also quite like the idea of a keyboard, and could probably put up with a fatty if it had a keyboard. Ultimately I'm going to have to try them all out before I decide. And unltimately at the end of all that I'll still want an IPhone.

Hold on! Your sole reason for not getting the HTC Magic is no headphone socket!!! Are you mental. Go speak to Al, he'll go on for around an hour about how ace the google phone is and I'd agree.
Palm pre is nice but i've lost interest in my N95 (like yours) as it's poop, and the first google phones only down side was that is was fat because of the qwerty keyboard, this one is the same just a big fatty.

However even though I am converting to apple based products I agree with your assessment of the iphone, nicely designed, brilliant interface great phone just a shame its 5 years behind the times.
